After years of battling leaks and strategically placed buckets around the gym, we’re very pleased to say… the roof repairs that were completed last year are holding strong!
Despite the recent relentless rain (and we really have had plenty of it), we’ve had:
• No leaks
• No damp patches
• And best of all – no need to put the buckets out
In fact, we’re hopeful the buckets can finally be retired from duty after years of loyal service!
Alongside the roof works, our new solar panels were successfully installed last year too, thanks to a generous grant from Forest of Dean District Council.
The system is now fully operational and ready to help reduce our energy costs and improve the sustainability of our gymnastics centre.
Now we just need one thing…

With all this grey weather, we’re starting to forget what sunshine feels like – but when it does return, our panels will be ready to charge up our batteries and make the most of it.
This marks an important step in protecting our 30-year-old facility and securing its future for the hundreds of families who use it each week.
